    Default vacuum gauge not working

    ever since I got extactors installed my vacuum guage which was working fine doesnt move at all.

    i think the guy probably disconnected it
    so i want to know how to reconnect it but i have know i dea where it is etc.
    can somebody plese tell me where exactly the guage comes from and is attached to.

    Easy, there should be a hose coming through your firewall with your heater hoses that needs to be connected to a vacume source somewhere, its its a carbie VK a christmas tree onto of the manifold would be good, else if its an EFI the christmas tree on the firewall side of the intake manifold.

    I could bet what as happed the clutz doing to work broke on of the ports off the christmas tree so instead of replacing it they swaped some hoses around so only the vacume guage wasnt working.

    FIXED! cheers mate
    i snapped the little blocker on one of the tree port little things so had to drill a new hole but works fine.

    i had no idea what the christams tree was but found it. it looks more like reticulation

    why bother fixing the guage in bloody useless my vbs got one and doesnt even work and the car runs fine
