Default thudding noise from rear of car

When I stop at lights or a stop sign or whatever and then take off, there is a thudding noise from the back of the car that almost sounds like your going over train tracks....any idea what it is ?

sounds like the spider gears inside the diif are on thier way out.

check for anything that may be loose like an exhaust or upper or lower control arms.

    good luck
