in a my vk commodore i want t change the interior to something newer (dash wise). i was wither thinking of a wrx dash like in VB commodore CHU-88Y or is there a dash in one of the newerish commodores that are easy to fit. or are there any suggestions
thanks![]()
so can anyone help me??
from what ive seen of other members rides, vl dashes arnt too hard to fit. but anything newer requires modifications. i remember one of the guys here had a vs dash in his vk. nicely done too, barely anything on that car was stock. have a look through the my rides section and see what you can find![]()
thanks. ive been looking at the vs sorta region and then put in woodgrain inserts
putting any different dash into a VK will require ALOT of customisation, new mountings, chopping, lengthening, shorting, rewiring, re fibreglassing/remolding, recovering in vinyl. alot of time/money will also have to custom fit the front door cards if installing one like the new commodores as they are all part of the dash and will look very funny without them, for me myself later on im just going to cut a peice of plastic to fit inplace of existing guage cluster and cut holes, install a autometer set
even putting a VC dash ion a VK is a bitch
best bet is to save the bikkies and buy/create custom guages
IMO
yer. that might be better
thanks
