6cyl auto vk 3200 rpm at 110 is that normal

ive been wondering if my car revving at 3200 rpm when im doing 110 is normal or would there be something causing this such as diff gearing i was wondering because my car is very loud with the 2/12 inch exaust with only 1 straight through muffler and it gives me a headache after a while

Without doing the maths it sounds like you have a lower than standard diff ratio. A car without a resonator will give you a serious head ache. I really don't know why people take them off.

definatley gives me a headache does a 5lt v8 vk diff have a ratio that would lower the revs a bit as i have access to one of them but its in a wagon and has a mini spool could the centre and axles be put in a sedan diff

its probarly a vl diff 3.45 gears

i have a 3.08 V8 diff for 100 bucks. also have a resonator around here i can throw in for free
