Unless its some extremely wild 202 standard plugs are fine. Everyone has an opinion, but after hearing alot of bad things about NGK I refuse to buy them, I use bosch, never let me down.
About $3 or $4 a plug from memory.

What happened with the NGK's? I have had a new one snap on me tho... that was annoying.

Havent heard of one snapping, but **** that would be a prick. More them breaking down underload and not firing, heard it with all brands of plugs, but just more NGK so put me off buying them when its no hassle to go Bosch anyway.

The Platinum and Iridium plugre suppose to last alot longer then a normal plug, its normally twice as long as a standard plug, but seem to be 3-4 times the cost, so it doesnt work out unless your lazy, or paying someone 200 bux to replace your plugs each time.
Some state that you get a brighter spark etc, which is always an added bonus, but dont think its going to make the biggest difference on a standard to mild engine you would be better off getting everything up to scratch (leads, dissy, rotor cap & button, coil etc).
It comes down to personel opinion at the end of the day, on my VK I only ever used Standard Bosch plugs, and was getting 10-11L/100kms. On the VS Ute I use a glorified plug because I get them for the same price as I can get standard plugs so I dont see why not.
