Tie a piece of string to the texta and the stud at the required length, which would be about 7 1/2 inches and draw a circle with the texta. Once marked, you can use a nibbler to cut the bonnet although i've heard of a few people using jig saws or grinders to cut the hole too. Please note, I have not done this myself and just heard of people doing it this way. So, if you make any mistakes...don't blame me. Alternatively, take it to a professional.
Thanks Mate .
