vb-vc 502 ramjet?
can anybody help with the legals required in qld to drop a 502 ramjet 400hp into a 253 plate vb-vc commodore?

Biggest donk i think into a VB-VC is 400ci. So this 502 is illegal.

there is a formula for calculating the max engine capacity for any given vehicle. you take the weight of the car and devide it by 3.4 to give a real ruff guideline. its not the official formula but it comes out at around the same answer so it works as a guide.
the vb/ vc commodore v8 weighs in at around 1300 - 1350 kgs i think, so this gives a maximum capacity of around 367cid.

As long as it fits under the bonnet & and an automotive engineer will approve it you can have it road legal. I have seen a 454 squeeed into a VC so im sure it could be done.
