Default Chrome strip plastic clips .

Hi Guys . just wondering if anyone knows if it is still possible to get the plastic clips that hold the chrome strip on the boot of a VH SL/E SL/X ? Or if anyone has an idea or how to fix it to the boot lid . I have 3 clips out of 6 .
    Cheers Mick .

well, to stop them rusting you should really put a bit of silicone around the clips anyway to waterproof them.

9543 6999 is the number to a universal bolt/clip supplier here in vic. he delivers too forgot his company name. its written downstairs and i CBF running down there again.

the number i gave you would be cheaper than holden and rare spares combined. it is just a dude with a van that gets his stuff from russia or china or some other poverty ridden country like that.

    whats that? child labour? meh...

With the amount of work and effort he has put into his vh I think a couple of genuine clips wont hurt not chinese crap that just deteriorates after a couple of months

I remember about a year ago Repco had a heap of those headlight clips on clearance for about $1.50 for a pair (so we bought all their stock).....retail was only about $10, so would of still been cheaper getting them from there then off ebay lol.

Also....try Wurth for little clips and stuff. Last time I checked out their website it was a bugger to find stuff. Ended up going to a panel shop and they had a few posters showing different clips and stuff and their part numbers, found wat I was looking for and they cost about $20 for a packet of 50 I rekon.....that was for the little plastic clips which hold the rubber door seal to the door.
