VH Tail Lights

Now i know you can get new VB-VC tail lights and VK-VL tail lights new . So why can't we get new VH tail lights ? Bloody popular car and we can't them . What is the go with that ?

whats the diff? the red band around them? thouht they were on ebay? tried bursons? they stock aftermarket replacements.

In worst case you could definitely get some from the wreckers. But i agree, i could not find any new ones.

hahah well i brought some SLE tail lights off ebay with extensions.. the mail man cracked the right hand side indicator and outer part because he threw them so now there sitting under my computer desk.. i have to wait 1 month before i can return them... if you get a tail light from the reckers get a pair because none of them are the same...

look through the tailight section under VK and it should come up wit a shade light enough or dark enought to suit the look your after the bolt up exact the same

I've been looking for VH tail lights to. The answers I've come accross are that VK ones are the same. Sounds a little dodgy to me though.

You can fit VL/VK lights on? has anyone done it, i'd try it.

Yeah we done it. Have to cut the tail light loom and use the VK/VL loom as it's a bit different. Also a downside is the taillights have the extra bits in them for the centre garnish.

Here's a pic. Ya can see the bits which the garnish would normally hide. Also they are slightly different on the ends so the chrome bits which go around it will have to be modified or changed. We were gonna use the black plastic mouldings from the VK, and use chrome tape to go over them. Ya wouldn't even know.

Yeah . Not a big fan of the VK tail lights on a VH . Will have to keep looking for a good set of second handies
