Hi guys..
now the old vk is pretty beastly, but like they say you will always want more power. I started doing alittle research and I figured that might as well add a bellmouth to the old 202. Now from what I can see I can roughly expect a 20rwkw power gain, do you guys think this would be a reasonable gain?
Also I want to add a AU XR8 wing to the old girl, you know the one that has 2 wings?..how would I go about doing this? Should I just glue and nail it onto the boot?
Cheers
Garlo

I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong
tabbacco is still my favorite vegetable
what is with the wankers on commodore forums?
i ask a serious question and all the dumb arses just post crap in my thread
Flux capacitor will yield more of a benefit than a bellmouth. Also think about a evo spoiler, excellent down force. also get a cannon
ford 221 crank strokes the red 202 *obviously with a bit of machine work*,
you would think itd work in a blue or black 202,
also 186 head onto the 202, bit more compression
Stupid questions will get stupid answers. You definitly seem like a troll with to much free time from your posts.
Giving you the benefit of the doubt here, if your not a troll I suggest you do a little more research on things before making up a thread and get a feel for the forum.
No idea what you mean by adding a bellmouth, if your being serious I can only guess you mean convert it from Carby to EFI, which yes would give you a fair increase in power and make for better cold starts and running.
The wing thing is pathetic and has to be 100% pure troll bait? If your serious, DONT DO IT. Get a Group 3 wing and fit it properly.
Thanks for all the help to the people that actually took me seriously. So tom I cant just chuck a bellmouth on?
So I take it no one likes the XR wing idea? I know it’s a ford wing, but it’s the only win I have seen that has two wings stuck together…ill def rethink this one then
No you cant. A wing is bad enough, let alone a double wing.
Can you please explain why your email address in your user profile is the same as the user "Camielle" on THIS FORUM, who also seems to be trolling bullshit.
I thought my near 2000 posts was a sign of a sad life, but you sir just take the cake. Signing up on multible forums to troll is very very sad, were you no good at making friends in the real world?
lol this is the worst mechanically inept thread ive ever seen a bell mouth in a 202 highly unlikely and a gain of 20 rwkw thats just moronic![]()

mate well instead of giving me shit, you could of just put me on the right track…
If no one else is gonna help the poor guy then i will.
Right, i wouldnt bother with the bellmouth there are much better ways to make power. If u want a car that can smoke up the tires easy u need more torque and diesels have tonnes of toque. So i would do a simple diesel conversion which u can do urself. U just need a welder and an adaptor plate for the dizzy.
First remove the sparkplugs, they arent needed for a diesel and now weld metal over the holes to create a good permanent seal. That should bump the compression up too = more power again. Now remove your dizzy from the back of the motor since there are no more spark plugs and buy an adaptor plate. Although u can make a rough one and just weld it straight to the block. This will stop oil flying out of that empty space. Next drain the fuel tank of any excess petrol, no good for this situation. Fill it up with diesel and ur away, no more spark timing to worry about and ur torque and economy will be second to none.
Happy driving mate! Let me know how it goes

another great way to get some extra hp is to get some 98 unleaded and then put about 1 kg of sugar into the tank after it![]()

All humour aside,
No, don't attempt to put a bellmouth in your carby 202.
and
No, don't 'attatch' an AU wing to your VK, let alone using nails and glue. (what the ****, how old are you seriously? I doubt you even own a VK.......how could you posssibly suggest nails, if you said screws, I'd call you a knob, but how can you suggest nails???)

20rwkw??
lol
that is all
sugar?...i thought it was molasses you added to your tank cause it was already fermented and had a higher octane rating....
I'll give some serious advice, that is. It's just not worth playing with a 202 anymore. They are just too old. Even with injection and a cam and ported heads and a really good exhaust they are still slower and use more fuel than a stock V6. It'll cost you a few hundred at most to buy a VN and swap the driveline over to V6. This is the only sensible option on how to modify a 202 (throw it in the bin or put it in a LC/J)
