Can my vk be turbo??

Im wanting to know if anyone can or knows of place that can turbo my vk? Any were around brisbane gold coast area?

Its just black 202 carby. Dont want to go for big power just yet just wanting to turbo it for something different? Ive researched a little but so far only seen the turboed vk on youtube.. Can you turbo carby or do i need to change to injected?

Is it cheaper to convert it to rb30 motor and turbo that or can it be DONE???

cheaper and easier to do a rb30 IMO. you can do that yourself with a block and tackle or engine crane. shouldnt take more than a weekend to complete

once you got the engine in, then you can start looking at power

It depends on your skill level and commitment.

End of the day if you can buy it off the shelf it is easier to get spares and help from others.

But it is always good to do something different. Just be prepared to invest time with research and money for a turbo manifold.

For a low boost turbo compression should not be a problem so it is doable.

Could probably bolt on most the turbo kit thou..

If any out there got a black 202 turbo could please pm or leave post with some info..

not a chance bro. sorry. in all honesty if you are not confident enough to change an engine, there is no way you will set up a turbo effectively your self. simple as that. engine swaps are 100 times easier than customizing something as complex as forced induction.

not a chance bro. sorry. in all honesty if you are not confident enough to change an engine, there is no way you will set up a turbo effectively your self. simple as that. engine swaps are 100 times easier than customizing something as complex as forced induction.
