G'day all, I'm trying to find out the history of my 79VB SLE.
Not completely sure if it's even an SLE or a replica, so if anyone can help, please drop me a line.
Here are all the numbers I could get from the VB
VIN: AVBO216705
OLD REGO: QZO254
ENG: L36
TRANS: M40
RRAXLE: GU7
GUW: 5/79
AUB: 0216708
SEATING CAP: 5
MOD: 8VX69BR
BODY No: 999607-S
TRIM: 1954-33Y
Thanks to all
It's definitely a genuine SL/E from the model no. Built in Sydney in May 1979. L36 would be the 253 which was the standard engine in the VB SL/E, unless a 202 or 308 was optioned, but my list doesn't identify engine or rear axle option codes.
M40 Trans was the Trimatic. Again, standard for the SL/E.
cool, thanks for the info CALABER, I feel alot better now m8, you've made my day.
cheers
