    Hi,

You maybe better to go RB30 or just swap to a factory EFI 3.3 . You maybe able to put efi manifold and loom from a EFI Vk but I am not sure.. chances are good.

    I much prefer EFI

From the manifold up, plus wiring computer and the fuel system (needs a return fuel line etc).
Can normally pick up the conversion gear for 100-200 bux and well worth it.

The heads have slight differences between Carb and EFI, but its just a matter of removing some plugs and putting them in the right spots, as they had different things blanked off to suit.

I have done it and there are a few dramas that came up.....I used a vl tank with priming pump and vk external pump and had to plumb everything up to fit properly and fit extra return line along chassis rails .Wiring was a bit of a headache but basically stripped the original vk harness and only used the fuel injection part and computer. Moved carbon canister and welded brackets to attach airbox.
After changing a injector and stopping the return line leak it came out well.....would probably go better if it had the vk injected cam but it runs ok with the vh carby one.

We done the EFI 202 conversion. Stripped out the EFI wiring out of the harness to use in the VH (was ALOT easier to wire up then I thought), used the VK EFI tank, VK EFI pump setup, used the return line out of the donor car. To start with we used the whole motor out of the VK donor car, but then changed to a carby motor that we put 2gether and chucked the EFI gear on it.

When we first done the conversion, using the whole injected motor.

The whole fuel pump assembly out of the VK.....tech screwed in for a few weeks until my uncle fixed the exhaust and he put a few welds onto the brackets to make sure it wasn't gonna come off lol.

Fuel filter, out of the VK as well (well the bracket is, the filter is obviously new lol).

The wiring loom. There's stuff all to it after u nut out where everything has to go. I added a fuse box to be safe.

And the new motor we put 2gether and chucked in. Also put a 4spd manual behind it at the same time.

It was fun doing the conversion, but I wouldn't do it again. Only reason being if ya find a cheap donor car an injected 5.0L conversion can be done for not much more. I bought my 5.0L donor car cheap as it was hit in the bum. I've got the motor, trans, engine harness, radiator, fuel pump and steering rack (and also kept the seats which are worth a few hundred), which have all now cost me zilch coz I made back more then wat I paid for the car by selling the parts off of it that I didn't need.
