    Default vh sle 5.0 10bolt diff blown

    hey guy im looking for a new diff center as i killed mine the other day having a hard time finding one wondering if any of you guys having any lying around ill even take the whole thing (housing) yeah i have 3.08 ratio 10 bolt Salisbury, also maybe if i can take one out of a hz or something without to much mucking around just wondering what i can shove in there to get it back on the road till i save for a 9" conversion

    your best bet is to buy the whole housing and center, so you dont have to mess around with shiming the center back up.

    i have a stockie VK at my workshop, replaced it with a 3.55 LSD, but no idea what its worth. it was perfect condition when i dropped it out.

    yeah would love it but 3.5 would be to tall for my car im running a trimatic with 3.08 sits on just over 2.500 rpm on a 100 and i do a lot of high way driving

    yeah, i wasnt clear with that post, sorry; i have a stocky VK diff here at my workshop. standard ratio, whatever that is for a V8 berlina.

    i replaced it for a 3.55 LSD so no longer need it. its been sitting by the door for about 6 months and i kept it in case the 3.55 popped.

    yeah did just gotta get the axles bearing and seals redone won't seal
