how much would u pay for a 308 vk?

but what about the big 8 ? any idea on what i can expect to pay??

Actually the reverse, most were auto.

I paid $2200 for a 304 (Auto) VK Berlina wagon, with fresh paint (door jams not the same colour tho)
Was an awesome car. They are just really heavy on the juice, especially with the traumatic (trimatic). Manual might be abit better, but i think they were still only 4 speed then, not totally sure. There also not that much down on power compared to a stock EFI 304 in the VN, which i thought was a surprise.

To answer the questions, i wouldn't pay anything over $1000 unless it had decent paint (or if it was a VK with the 304)

nah there shitty autos but there is manual ones get the 5 speed box and through behind it instead of the m21 there shit!

even if u got a vh just stick the vk front on depends wat u can find cheaper

If your going to buy a car start with the best car that you can afford because its easier to do up a good/great car than start with a lemon and these car have had a long time to be screwed with!

well i just paid $3500 for a 85 vk calais with no motor or box, BUT it is like a show car.

my vk calais has no rust, custom paint, has hardly been driven and realy its 1 of the best and cleanest vk's i have seen ever.

so it realy depends on the car

I'm not saying it doesn't. Just saying when i had my VK 304, it liked to chew it (not as bad as the V6, but nowhere near the efi 304)

My old V8 used stuff all fuel. Yeah around a grand for an ok V8. More for manual though definately. Most were auto unfortunately
