The borg warner diffs in the Commodores use a flange, the Salisbury's use the u-bolts.

It wouldbe an M76 5 speed (borgwarner and sailisbury diff) the problem is this combo is rare as, you need to fabricate a tailshaft, cut the end off a borgwarner shaft and then spin down the yoke for the sailisbury on a lathe and then weld it in.

Have info on my site about my tailshaft adventures

    cheers

What you might be able to do is sepearte the 2 sections at the cv joint. Fit your existing rear section that fits your existing diff to the front section that fits the gear box.

If that is no good then you might have to get one fabricated.

I fitted a T5 to my VB with a BW diff and got a VN V8 one rebuilt and cut to suit.

    Good Luck

There was a few VH's fitted with the 5spd and Salisbury diffs....I might even have a tailshaft down the back to fit it (I use to have a VH 5spd with a Salisbury), but I don't know which one is which...these days if we need one we keep trying different ones till we find one that fits lol.

Ya might get away with using the M76 yoke on the front of ur current tailshaft.

I had a quick look under my VK with a Salisbury trimatic combo and looks to have the same CV joint as the m76 shaft i have in the shed so try connecting the rear half of your old tailshaft the the front of your new one there as VBRED suggested.
