Got a small problem which we need to fix b4 2morrow lunchtime (well 2day now)....we chucked a 308 in my VK wagz which was a 202....but the accelerator feels weird, like it doesn't have much movement, and the carby isn't opening fully.
We're using a v8 throttle cable, which is fully adjusted.
Is there anything different from the v8 and 6 cyl accelerator pedals?
Wat's the easiest way to get more movement out of it?

get a pedal box from a v8
Nope no diff between pedals at all. The cable could be stretched.

A lucky owner of 2 SL/E Commodores, a rare VB SL/E and a 2 tone VC SL/E. Just need a VH SL/E and have the set!
if you have a spare hole on the throttle linkage that is closer to the centre shaft it will pull further for less pedal movement
I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong
tabbacco is still my favorite vegetable
there is also a screw on the pedal which adjusts you bumps. that messes with your little "slidey thingie". just make sure you have full play with that cos the little slidey switch will stop some of the acc pedal travel.
Turns out the pedals are different. So changed them over and it fixed the problem.
