You need to change the k frame, rack lower section of steering shaft. I think in the vk the gearbox xmember is ok. Fuel tank and fuel return line if not fuel injected. Wiring loom + ECU. Get a donor car is easiest.

The VK is setup for the 202/Holden 8, the RB needs a different K Frame to fit in (the VL one)

It may be best to change the diff even it it is BW. THe diff ratio in the VL is a 3.45 the vk is most likely a lower number. Need a cat to to be legal.

You will need to upgrade the brakes to vl turbo or better. Check with your road authority. Most likley need an egineers. My son and I converted his VH to a rb30 turbo.

twin turbos are a waste of effort
twice the cost and you only gain the wank factor

    you will need much more
custom exhaust manifold to suit the two turbos, plumbing for the intake or cooler, 2x oil feeds, 2x oil drains, 2x water feed, 2 x water drain, 2x custom dump pipes, custom front pipe etc

twin turbo is good for response
    single is good for power

going from a 202 to a rb30et you will be making a massive jump in performance let alone thinking of a rb30ett set up

start with the rb30et first before you think too far

Mate You will need to discuss with the RTA or an engineer.

Single turbo to manufacturer's specs ok in vic with engineers.

With a VL doner it should be reasonably easy, wiring might be a bit tricky unless your handy with a soldering iron.
    Just my 2 cents worth...

We used the VL loom. Cut of all the connectors to the lights etc off the vh loom and soldered to the vl loom. We replaced the vh dash with a vl dash.

    A lot of f**king around.

From memory the windscreen rubber had to be trimmed back, had to use the vh heater and fan controls. Some of the ducting need to be modified a bit to fit.

The cluster fits differently so best to get the supporting section from the VL donor and fit.

It could have been made a lot easier if the VL cluster was fitted to the vh dash and rewired the light wipers and heater fan controls.

At the end of the day this is a great car. Not many RB30turbo VHs getting around.

It was oriiginally fitted with a standard RB30 and latter upgraded. Photos are taken during engine transplant, car ready for rego and as bought. It was a two year project. You can see my red VB in background of the first photo.
