Advice on VH SL/X Wagon (last one was typo)

I need info on my car. i got 17x8 rims VT SS and i have them on the car at the moment. at the front the top of the tyre is approx 2 to 3 inches away from the spring. ive seen other VH's going around with massive rims on the car. i need to know what to do so they dont hit. im not sure if they do but it sure looks like they would. any suggestions???? cheers

3 inches at the top means 6 inches overall. remember to keep your speedo accurate, when you go bigger rims you need to go smaller profile tyres.
