hi all

long story short i'm halfway through fitting a ls1 to my vh sle
and am trying to organize a fuel system and wanted to know
whether a vl fuel tank fitted into a vh???

as far as i know it will, im looking at putting a 80L VS one in my vk and it will go in with minor strap modfications

I know the VN one defiantly fits, not sure about the others.

The VL tank will bolt straight in no mods required.

The VN and later tanks you have to cut down the fuel filler neck. Easy 5 minute job.

THe left strap on IRS cars are different.

I have a VR tank in my VB.

You will have to run a fuel return line as well.

yeah I've got a VL tank in my VH, straight swap - just need to change the connector on your sender wiring

how much has it cost you so far for the LS1 swap? I was thinking of the same conversion...

are you going man or auto?

Also what size is a standard VH Tank, i was thinking of putting a VS 80Ltr in just for longer range..

standard tank should be 63 mate,
costs so far
car $1500
body parts $200
ls1 and auto box incl all wiring control units fans and rad $2500
conversion kit $800

still got about 10k to spend but this includes full spray, new rear end, brake upgrades etc

i would say you could do the conversion for about 6k if thats all you were doing
