    Default interchangeable parts help

    hi guys just wondering if anyone could tell me what parts are interchangeable between the vb to vk commodores

    head lights taillights lots more think some panels and body parts think most of interior and engine thay are bassicly the same car just vk plastic bumpers

    what parts you looking to swap over

    i was thinking of putting a vh hood on my vb coz it has a hornet scoop on it

    also what diffs will fit a vb? i want to put in an lsd but dont have too much knowledge when it comes to diffs

    carn't see why not im 99% sure they are a clean fit vk is different i think (bit to sharp in the center ) please quote if im wrong

    im the same with diffs although when i took 1 out of my old vk (lsd ) it fitted my vs wagon and they are ment to be different but its the same with uni joints and tail shafts i learnt that due to needing parts and took them off my old vk to fit my vs

    OK. To fit the VH bonnet onto the VB, you need to swap the guards too. The bonnets are the same.
    Diffs, VB-VL sedan diffs fit sedans, wagons fit wagons.

    to fit a late VK diff (BW) into a VB (and upto the early VK's which had the salisburydiff) you will also need to change the rear half of the driveshaft.

    the VL diff is also 12mm wider then the VB-VK diffs (and from VN onwards it is 40mm wider again)

    Just incase you got confused, that was a typo, bonnets are not the same hence the need to swap gaurds
