Will bolt straight in...just gotta use the rear half of the borgwarner tailshaft used in some VK's (put it with the front of ur tailshaft....or if the trans is the same, leave it).

And as the vl turbo diff is prolly disc, ya might need to change ya hand brake cable if urs is drum.

Wat do ya mean by the whole rear end? They're a live axle diff, so it's the whole diff including axles brakes etc etc.

The rear half of a VL tailshaft is all you need besides diff. There are a row of allen key bolts near centre bearing of tailshaft to undo and change the rear shaft. It is recommended you get the tailshaft balanced. The only tailshaft that wil fit other than doing this is a VL V8 tailshaft that had the trimatic auto if you are running a trimatic or m21/m20 aussie 4spd.

The VL tailshaft won't fit the VB-VK 6cyl tailshafts as they are a little bigger in diameter. When I first chucked a VL diff under one of my cars I tried using the rear of the VL tailshaft....which is when I found out they didn't work. It may bolt up to a V8 tailshaft, not sure how big those ones are.
