Default I need help to find my old commodore

Fellow Commodore owners, i need your assistance on what may end up being a wild goose chase, but i want to atleast say i gave it a go.

I'm trying to track down, the best commodore i have ever owned.
It was a genuine 1982 VH CDT Commodore.
I have no pics available of this car (and i'm still looking),
the car was fitted with a
    holden 253,
    M21 4 speed manual,
    4 wheel disc brakes,
    alloy drop tank,
    light tan and chocolate interior,
    lowered,
CDT insignia located on the horn button, gear knob, and passenger side of the dash showing build number (from memory i think it was #96 or #98),
Red in colour, similar to the current Sting Red.

I have missed this car every day for the last 10 years or so. Last time i saw it, was when i sold it to the Holden Wrecker in Belmore Rd at Punchbowl, just off Canterbury Rd, between 1998 - 2000. I know, many years have passed, and i'm really doubtful that it's still out there and in one piece, but if i can find it, i'd love to get her back, rego number is, NSW black & white plates JF.063.

If anyone can help, i would be forever grateful, or even if you know of a way i could track it down, i have even thought of ringing the wreckers first, but i'm sure they wouldn't remember it.

    Cheers,
    Rob.

No, It's not a HDT, it's a CDT (country dealer team), they were around in the 70's and 80's, mainly did gemini's, produced some turbo six commodores etc. There is not alot of info out there about them, but i will have a look at the forum, you posted, they may know a bit more about them, thanks.

If you sold it to a wrecker then I'm sorry to say its probably parts in 100 different cars now.

Yeah, your probably right, but thought i'd give it a go. The body was in pretty good condition, there was no rust anywhere and only a few dents, the paint had a few scratches and chips etc.

Yeah. If the wreckers took it then you'll be looking for ever for the parts cause they either split it up or sold it as a whole cause of it's condition.
