Project VH V8 Vacationer Wagon

[V8 VH Vacationer]

Hi All,
I have got a Factory fitted V8 Vacationer Wagon, it was a one owner plus the dealer i brought it from, original 213,000ks.
I have a couple of questions hopefully someone can give me some advice, firstly is this worth doing as a project, i believe it was one of 6 factory V8 wagons made? how would i verify that?

The car itself is very tidy, paint needs doing and there is a little rust that needs to be attended to apart from that every thing else is original and in good order. It was owned by an old bloke who used it to tow his caravan.

take some measurements of the boot/rear quarter etc i been told that the VK's had to have a plate installed in the boot cos' previous versions stretched after towing heavy loads.

if its all straight then go for it

edit* its a station wagon, so chalk that up to ari666's 1 millionth dumbarse post

Its not common but i would say the would be more than 6.
