i picked up the vk today after having the trans overhauled now theres this sound like a supercharger when you first start it and if you sit in one spot for a while anyone know what it is? the trans guy said it may be the dust cover hitting something ill check the belt on the motor but shouldnt have a problem with them all help would be appreciated

drove it today didnt here anything so im guessing it was a freak thing

havent heard it while sitting but up high rpm 5-6000 it makes the noise pretty sure it the belt but now i put the clutch fan back in and a new thermostat now the car overheats could it be the thermo stat coz its brand new thinking of taking it out fully

Maybe a dry pump in the auto. Too thick trans fluid maybe?, or to fine a filter in it?

ok thanks ill check it out also noticed it happenning when car on hill leaning to one side
