VK 6cyl 5 speed box work with a 304?

hey guys,

as title states i just bought a 6cyl carby VK looking at putting a 304 carby in the car, can i use the same box with a different bellhousing?? will it hold with the v8?

any info would be great

No the 6cyl 5speed box will not cope with the torque levels a 304 will put out. They are maxed out behind a 202. Your manual options are pretty much M21, Supra, T5 or T56.

Nop It should hold up just fine.... Untill you let the clutch out
