VK air con

hey all, i have just got myself a VK berlina wagon, now it has air con but i cannot for the life of me workout how to turn it on?
i spent a good 15 mins playing around with the knobs to get it to engage the a/c compressor but nothing

is there something im doing wrong? or is there a simple fix to get it working? summer is here and i dont wanna be without a/c on weekend cruises haha

yeh mines ****ed too.
my suctioon hose wasnt connected the 1st time but now its ****ed again
i think mine needs to be re gassed
same with urs mate

In my old vk i had to have the fan on full for it to work but it could of been dodgy

Wind all the windows down and get her up to 80 ks ASAP!

lol, itll be that vac hose on the back of your switch not turning your fan on, ill bet.

when i had a vk berlina 15 odd years ago, the ac didnt work, the fan didnt work, i changed the fuse box, as it was in poor condition, and everything just started to work perfectly, so check the fuse box and relays..

yer, it could be something as simple as a blown fuse or fuse board (rail?????) but it sounds like it needs a re-gas
