I just got this girl back, i sold it months ago to a mate for $300 but now they are getting a new car and this was gonna go to the wreckers so i took it back. But ive got my VR and i dunno what to do with this old girl. Its fully running and goes great, paint on the roof is farked and little rust spots here and there but thats it. Gorgeous green interior. its a 202 3 speed auto VH SLX
Don't let it go to the wreckers whatever you do!
Four commodores and counting.
use your VR as your daily and have this as a project, V8, all that stuff, just DON'T let it go to the wreckers
god, why are all the good ones in SA? ffs, just give it to me so i can swap my engine into it![]()
puunchooooooooon haha nar dont go wreckers, my father got rid of his vb and regretted it when he saw it stripped somewhere else
re register it and burn the vr
Apart from being an auto is identical to the car I learned to drive in. If I had the room to store it, I'd buy it off you. But if you have somewhere to keep it undercover it would be a wise move to keep it yourself. I will post a video in here later that will make you want to keep it.
Otherwise hold onto it for a little while untill you find someone that is legit and willing to look after it or has the money to do something fantasic with it
You can do alot of things to a VR but you can never make it as cool as a VB-VH, can be debatable which model this one is but either way it's good
Pity you don't live in Victoria, it would make a good track car for someone. They are a bit old to be driving around the street in daily these days
what you could do is clean it up and then store it in the shed the price is starting to go up on them now so very soon they will be worth a mint
Dude to tell you straight out i would love to buy that for a first car but at my age itll sit there for like 3 yrs so im working on a motorbike LOL (and i think i want a vk, and dropping an ecotec in it)
xD
sell it to someone who can restore it as original as possible. something like that is too good to wreck and to good to slap on some interceptor rims and stuff in a V8 lol
Do you still have this car?
I just crashed my car which is almost exactly the same and I need some parts, a whole car would be useful for spares.
keep it id say
