What Would you do to my vh sle 308?

ok im looking on plans on a engine rebuild / transplant diffrent motor(was thinking ls1 but cost is massive to do a good job of it) .

it currently has,

pacemaker extractors
yella terra heads
elderbrock performer manifold
procomp cam (think the specs around a round simillar to a tow cam)
21/4 to 3inch dump exchuast
straight gas gra 480 setup (in mind turbo setup)

ok guys i thinking of a full rebuild go twin gra throttle bodies manual 5 spd as is trimatic thought about histall but would rather a manual for the extra gears and more fun in my books

i wanna make around 250rwkw so was thinking either strong rebuild at 308 and a bit of psi from a turbo or 355 stroker with a smaller turbo maybe motor will last longer

p.s current setup makes around 125 at the wheels (has enough grunt to fry second gear on a 3.08 ratio diff lsd not bad i thought )

If its a geniuen SLE 5.0 VH I'd leave it as is and enjoy it.. aint to many left now

procomp cam? your an idiot mate itll probly disintegrate inside your motor

I,ve herd the same about those cams...best advice i got told was dont cut corners when buying a camshaft for your engine...Broken lobes arnt worth the risk

i didn't build my motor got some one to do it for me but thanks for the heads up won't be doing that brand again
