by the look of your avatar the beeeeeping is a warning that your a tool and should buy a pushbike
three thing in life are guaranteed
taxes
death
and car repairs
What beep is it? A little more info please!
Maybe it's the "retard in drivers seat" warning.
Is your car still running? maybe it was saying 'low fuel'
Have you broken the handrake switch by being a tool?
found this in his profile

Totally unsure - I only owned the VK exec'.
I was lucky it had a horn...... hold on, maybe that's his problem!!!!
I have just gone through and got that annoying buzz out of my VK Calais, its for a series of things from low coolant, seat belt oil etc. Mine would not shut up think it was broke.
If you remove the dash all together, you dont need to pull all the connectors off, just make the dash loose.
On the Left side where the rear demister button and icon is that little panel, grab the wiring loom from behind that and cut the yellow wire. That yellow wire will connect into a purple or violet wire from the car, the no noise.
I have just recently just bought a VK Calais and put a turbo 700 in it and also alarm into the central locking. Ive pulled the whole dash out and done alot of playing with wiring, HID's, Fans, Running hydrogen cells etc. if anyone needs wiring diagrams or how to the Turbo 700 mounts in, overdrive lockup etc. let me know, ill be glad to help.
nice! very good first post (even if it is a bit of a thread dig)! welcome to JC mate.
Only 9 months late :/

Thanks JC ! bit of a dig but any info is good info when you need it.
I know 9 months late, but i done some searching on the web and it was hard to find anything relating to this subject. So to make it easier i just wrote what i went through to fix it. Oh and by the way if you want to get rid of the buzzer pull the circuit board of the back of the demister area ( 3 screws ) and the buzzer sits on that board closest the dash soldered with a + symbol on it.
What he saids is true, even though the thread is dead it still comes up on a google search. So now if somebody else has this problem and searches google and they find this thread theyll know how to fix it.
