Rocker Cover

okay so i bought a new rocker cover for $5 cause it was chrome and my other one is scxrewed as you can see from pic. i noticed my old one (shitty lookin one) has 3 holes in top and new one (chrome) only has 2. can i use it? if so does it effect anything? can i still put hose in top as i realise that that part is longer. cheack out pics. just the chrome one looks great and once engine is clean and painted it will look even better. any thougts on thins????????????????????

Hmmm, well my rocker cover only has 2 holes but they are on 2 opposite ends of the cover, i still don't know what yours looks like.

EDIT, Just realised yours is a straight 6?

the holes are spaced out. they went like that wen i posted. old one has.. one far left one middle more to right and one far to right. new one has one far to left and far to right. will keep trying to uplead cheers

I would guess one you bought is for a red 202 where you need one for a blue/black 202 you will probably find the scew holes to fit it to the head wont line up either.
If it will fit you can cut an adition hole in it but you will need to fit an anti splash guard on the inside so you dont loose oil up the pipe.
You could block it off at the air cleaner and not use the crankcase gas burn car will still run ok without it.

Red 202 - oil filler at front and PCV valve at rear
blue black 202- oil filler hole, pipe to air cleaner for crankcase gas burning and finally pcv valve.

Early red 202s probably didn't have the pipe to air cleaner but i know late ones did. Old yella here has it, stupid idea.
