how many ks to a tank should i get vk 6 cyl

how many ks should i get to a tank of fuel got a vk red 3.3 ltr done a trip to syd to dubbo had to fill it twice and had under half a tank wen i arived no leak in tank so i some how think its going some were else any suggestions

im my VH blue 202 i was getting ATLEAST 600 to a tank. with alot of cruising and some traffing. and i wasnt driving lightly at all.

the VK black 3.3L seems to be notorious for poor fuel economy, even the EFI engine was a thirsty beast. Not sure why as they weren't that different to a blue.
Although having said that, the stock standard blue 3.3L auto in my previous VH used to only get around 450-500 km to a tank on the highway & it was a fairly healthy engine (power wise) - I'm getting around 600kms to tank with my EFI 5L!

ok its a red engine 3.3 man its not even a 308 and i hate filling it up

If is a vk it shouldn't be a red 202. Are you sure its not an EFI 202? The red rocker cover on them tends to throw a lot of people off.
