VH Dash

My Dash Just Falls Down. there is say a 2 inch gap on the drivers side near the vent. have taken it apart and put it all back in. whats up with it? why wont it stay up??? anybody got any idea??????????

i got an idea... all the little bits of plastic are broken and all your screws are missing.

sorry bro. but the dashes are prone to cracking and falling to bits. mine has about 2 out of 12 screws still holding it together. sadly i havnt figured out a fix yet, other than cutting large strips of thick plastic out and using them as sort-of-washers.

or buying a dash in good nick. i am gonna stick to plastic washers for now.

my sle has the same problem, i started pulling it out and now its worse and wont budge, dont want to break it though, i think it started from the dash warping slightly (unnoticeable to the eye) and the little tabs at the bottom dont fit in there groves anymore

2 inch gap!
My dash has maybe a 5mm gap where the upper and lower halves of the dash meet beside the side vents, which I can't seem to close up either. All the dash is in tact. But it's not particularly noticeable unless you are looking for it.

But 2 inch gaps.... you must have done something wrong.
