vh front bumper on vk

has anyone put a vh front bumper onto a vk. curious as to how itd look with the larger openings in the vk front valance

anyone done it or seen it done?

nah, we need a new display car for work(havent had one for like 2 years now), and boss is thinking of retro'ing the vk im currently borrowing, and i think chrome bumpers would be the way to go.

Here's my VK wagz which shows the bigger holes in the apron.


Here's me little bro's old VK which we put VH bumpers on...can't really see the holes tho coz the bottom of the apron was painted black.


And the other way around, here's VK bumpers on our old VH. Had to chop out the holes in the apron to fit the bumper brackets. This is by far our most favorite car we've had....just wish we chucked a V8 in it lol.


And here it is again b4 the previous pic, but chopped down a VH grill to fit in with the VK bumper.

why are you converting a vh sle to a vk? sell it and buy a vk dont ruin that vh please dont

yeah, dont ruin a good VK, ill swap you if you badly want a VK.. lol

Not a genuine sle - but one of the best mock ups i have seen. Even had the cruise in it when i picked it up a few years back.
Guy I bought it off said was stolen and recovered - another reason to turf the shell as it has extra vic police id tags on it from that - and he bought a write off sle from auction and done the swap. body just too bad to be bothered fixin properly now, and got the K for real cheap. Is just a project for me, had a string of early girls , 1B 2C 5H(2sle + this one) and a K, and keep going back but want somethin different now. Stroked injected manual sle(VK) is the plan. starting with a bare metal two tone respray - blue over silver.

Yes swapping all my VH gear in & out to VK shell.
Like the VH stuff more - dash, blue velour interior, chrome bumpers - but like the profile of the K with the extra window.
The opel and vauxhual senators and records actually had the window from the VC type model. Would even like to get my hands on a "Royale" dash if I could.
Have some pics of these but cant post them yet. have to figure that out.
