hi all, just purchased a vk from a work mate, just a rolling shell. Just wanting to know what engine i should chuck into it. Its definately going to be an 8, just not sure whether to go the 304 fi or go the 308 carb. Love the look of the carbys with the blower sitting out of the bonnet but also love the 304s. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Just wanting to see what different people think of the engines too. Also which would be the most reliable and which would be the best for power output?

EFI 304 using a carbie manifold drilled with injector bosses and use a carb as basically a throttle body.

That day you keep the old school look with the later performance and reliability. VT 304 Roller motor is the way to go.
