Hey guys, just wondering if anyone / or anyone you know of has put a VN/VP dash into a VB/VC/VH/VK/VL??
I've seen it done before, just was too young to really know about how they went about it. Not sure if it was just the outer shell of the VN/VP's dash, or if the whole heater assembly etc was swapped over.
Will need to make the dash narrower, but on the one I saw they just took off the outer air vents, and it fitted comfortably inside the VH door trims. But I might end up narrowing the whole dash pad as I would like outer vents.
I don't mind modifying the firewall where neccessary, welding up old holes, drilling new ones etc... as I'll be painting the engine bay soon.
Basically, I have 1 VP sitting in the drive, and next to it, a VH. So in my mind, between the two I should have what i'll need to get it done.
A VP, in a VH shell...
Everything, engine driveline etc, all dash/heater/would like steering column? if it'l fit?? And all wiring, (so then the dash will work with the VP driveline - bit of overkill, just to save some wiring issues, lol,)
Any tips or advice??!

Keeping it that colour?
The dash, or the car??
Both = No...!
The Dash, is most likely going Satin Black.
The Car, well the car is still undecided, but I like the idea of going back to the original colour of the car, a Burgundy - But with a twist, nice flake/pearl. With blacked out window surrounds/tail light area.
