VL seats into VK????

hi,
can you fit VL front and rear seats into an 85 VK?
as I am after a good seat of blue seats for VK, but a guy has offered a good set of VL, so need to see if they fit?

Rear Seat and drivers seat will bolt straight in, the passenger seat will need modifying done to the rails, i had the same problem with my vk when i brought vl seats for it

here are the seats currently in car,
I think they are VL? anyway.
But the totally wrong colour, as rest of interior is blue.

And yes the passenger seat does not sit right, bit low on one side.

just fit either 85 VK rails tot he VL seat or use 2 outside VL rails ie outside from drivers side and out side of passengers side, or get VN-VS rails and do the same 2 outside rails on the passengers side.

Im trying some front seats from a VR wagon i have been told they will fit but will have to wait to see

I had full electric VT berlina seats in my VK for a while made up adapter rails and they pretty will bolted in.

OK so to confirm, just about anything up to VS (or even VT) will fit, but the rails may need a bit of swapping?
as I am having no luck in finding a good set of blue VK seats?

Did u just fab up a custom rail or use a different rail out of sumfin else? I'm putting VQ seats in the front of my VK, the passenger one bolted up fine with the 85 VK rails, but the driver side won't play along coz it's a different width to the rails and the rails on the VQ seat seem to join to the mechanism which reclines ya seat....so remove the rails and ya got nothing left except the back and the bottom with nothing holding them together lol.

So yeah....next step is to put it back together and get the welder out.

anything will fit but any seats and rails for that matter coming out of a vehicle fitted with a cat converter will have a different floor profile on the passenger side between an 1 inch 3/4 and 2 inches in fall between left and right seat mount, vk's and earlier dont have this as they were pre unleaded and cats

you just need to remove the rails and hopefully the vk ones wil fit straight on it mainly the outer passenger one as this is the rail which is higher you'll see the differnce its quite noticeble
