need help have VC 3.3 blue motor, power steer, swapping to 308 out of HQ . swapped steel engine mounts that bolt to block for commodore v8 . still have rubber mounts that where out of HQ thought they where all the same . but engine mounts still do not line up. Still have original k frame, do I have to swap k frame for v8 commodore k frame?.
Nah mate ya don't need to change the kframe's over. How isn't it lining up? Ya sure it just doesn't need to be moved back more or sumfin? They can be a tight squeeze gettin in sometimes.

You need a Commodore sump on it, you don't have the HQ sump on it still ?
You need commodore engine mounts. I think the HQs are a little different.

Gday, im doing the same to my vk. the HQ engine mounts will put the engine back abit, it will be hard to move the dizzy around. If you using extractors the driver side will be tight fit but it will be fine. And, the power steering you will need a V8 one...I hope this help you, Cheers Jason
