Are 6cyl and V8 fan shrouds the same?

Are the radiator fan shrouds for 6cyl and V8 the same ie. would a 6cyl one fit a V8 with engine fan?

As long as the fan is off a 6cyl. We use a 6cyl fan and shroud in our 308 race car.

there are 2 fan sizes
1. 6 cylinder with A/C & all V8 (larger 8 blade clutch fan)
2. 6 cylinder without A/C (smaller fixed fan)

so as long as the shroud comes off an engine with a clutch fan it will be the same - 6 or 8

In my Vk it has factory Air but only small six blade fan and a mini thermo fan on the front of the condensor, just wondering if you reckon it should have the bigger fan like the EFI 6s and V8 did.

yes it should definitely have the 8 blade clutch fan, the small electric fan is just the condensor fan. It should have had the big clutch fan fit from factory if it had A/C
