my VK had an internal pump, which was low pressure and it failed.

had to buy a carter black and holley fuel pressure reg to fix it.

VL tanks tanks have an internal, low pressure pickup pump (both 6cyl & 8 cyl).
The 6cyl has an additional external high pressure pump mounted outside the tank like a VN

i'm not entirely sure that the internal is low pressure had one out a while ago and tested it and it emptied a 2 lt ice cream container in seconds i shit myself at its pumping spend, couldnt tell ya if it did that under resistence pressure but it moved fuel rather rapidly though
if it doesn't have a lion in the badge it not worth having

Realise this is an old thread but I just put a new pump in my VL, still wasnt pumping any fuel out so I took it back out and hooked it straight to the battery and sat it in a bucket of fuel, id say the filter and half the pump was in the fuel itself, but theres still no fuel pumping through the line, is the pump then fault or am I doing something wrong ?
