    Default are vn v6 brake pads the same as vk?

    I know its probably not, but is worth asking.

    same as VL turbo and VK V8 from memory

    not the same as VK 6 though

    thats debatable coz i have a vb and s1 vn pads fit???? but they wouldnt fit my sissters s2 vn ????

    vl turbo and vn v8 rotors and calipers are bigger than any vk series well base models anyway

    The Turbos/V8's, S packs and VP series 2 onward have the finned calipers but the pads are all the same but I'm not sure about the VK's. The V8 I guess at least runs this same pad

    I definitely know the VLT run the same pad my bad on the VK8

    VB-VP (excluding big 330mm HSV brakes) use the same brake pads.
    The finned calipers on the V8's & turbo 6, S Pack etc use the same pads as the smaller brakes

    sick so i wasted cash but really no cos my rotors are bigger and the car pulls up alot quicker but i am getting the ve upgrade soon got quoted $750-$800 for the kit with slotted rotors

    in my experiences and i been holden man through and through as far as i can recall all brake pads for the front are db 1085 prefix up till vt with have different type of caliper
    if it doesn't have a lion in the badge it not worth having

    Yep, all Commodore standard brakes are the same from VB-VS. V6 and V8 are all the same. The difference was in the caliper and rotor only.
