    Default sticky box

    i have just bought my self a 85 vk (bout a week ago). done a few little things to it, new plugs + leads, runs fine, and then just yesterday the gearbox is sticking in 1st.. and wont change up.. im not a big fan of autos or no much bout them.. any suggestions as to why it is doing this.. i havent flogged it or put the box under any pressure..

    thats a very common problem im 99% sure itll be the vacume moudel on the trans theres a metal line that goes from the back of the gearbox to the t pice on the manifold have had this happen manny of times

    Im guessing that without vacuum it thinks that you giving it a boot full so holds first as long as possible?

    im not sure, but it holds 1st and dosent change, i had my foot flat in first and it didnt change, but i think it would be something like that (thinks ur giving it a bootfull)

    Default vk over heating

    my vk runs very hot, along the flats its fine but going up a bit of a hill it gets warmer and the steeper the hill the hotter it gets. i have cleaned the raidator and it is still doin it.. any suggestions??
