gday everyone im the owner of a stock 95 VK Vactioner and found a decent set of wheels that suit the car. just wondering wether 19''s would fit under it without having to mess around with the guards/suspension or anything else
sorry everyone its auctually an 85
I had 19's on the front of my vk with bald tyres, and when taking them off noticed they scrubbed a bit on the bottom of the spring seat. So yeah will prolly scrub, not sure wat profile they are. My 18's never scrubbed tho, and the 20's......well they scrubbed bad, couldn't even push the car much coz the tyre was touching the spring seat so much that they were like a brake lol.
If they scrub tho it's easy to fix if ya got a welder and a grinder.....or take ya struts to a metal fab place. Just gotta grind off the weld that holds the spring seat to the strut assembly, move it up 10mm or watever u like, then re-weld it. Will lift the front the same amount tho, but I changed from super lows to ultra lows at the same time and it still dropped a bit.
