Hi fellow commodore nuts
This is my first thread I have just purchased a mint vk berlina and was wondering if anyone knows how to fix the clock on the dash?
I hope over time I can provide our community with lots of help and knowledge as I have owned plenty of commodores over the years from vb to vs this vk berlina was a return to my youth and will be my toy as i have good plans for her I will post pictures soon of my new ride and also any how to's cause I have plent of factory work shop manuals
hope some one can help with my problem
cheers
Les
You can get a vdo insert (2 years ago it was only $60) and fit it behind the original face
if the PCB is not burned there is a place in south sydney (yellow pages) and he can fix almost anything and he is cheap. He is the one that gets the VDO inserts for you
Or there is a guy in Queensland (again 2 years ago) I git his name from Road and Race (restores Ducati's) email him for the details.
Cant wait to see some pics, as for your clock, must be a common problem as my VK Berlina clock was also dodgey when i got it. But mine was just sticky from sitting around for most of its life with no battery connected so a bit of WD-40 then a tiny touch of grease and its been fine since.
Hey cheers for the info I will have a go maybe has the same problem as yours I will let you know
by the way nice pic of ya commy
