202 injection

i have a worked 202 and am wondering if it is possible to use injection from a black 202 on a blue 202, and what changes need to be made to the motor as in msd, recurved dizzy, cam. and will it be worth the effort time and money to do so.

You''ll probably get maybe another 20kw depending on what your set up is. You don't have to make any changes except for tapping into the electrical system for the ecu. It bolts straight on to the manifold which is a bonus!!! probably take about 2/3 hours being careful. Cost ebay sometimes have them for about 50-100 bucks with everything including ecu.

best to use the VK manifold, fuel rail etc but use another injection system, either a delco, haltec etc. I ran an E6x on my VK for a while with very good results 6 coil packs, no air flow meter to restrict air flow , one of these days I will wire it up on the 5L. The delco units are quite good as well talk to greenfoam about it.

if it gets injected will the msd stillbe used or will need to be removed.

that depends what ignition system your running electronic is it? if so you could keep it and runa single coil setup or go wasted spark with 6 coil packs

yes dizzy is a blue motor item that has been recurved to suit the worked motor and the coil is a hipo coil (msd brand)

you could use an After market computer and just do fuel or ditch the coil and dizzy and go 6 coil packs and let the computer do ignition and fuel up to you and your budget
