I want to change my gear selector oil seal and just wondering if it's a simple thing like removing the pan and shaft?Apart from the slight oil leak she works fine.

It wouldnt be that simple and unless its leaking extremely badly i would just leave it, as a new one would probably weap anyway because by now the shaft would be a little worn.

Is there a bush that the selector shaft sits in?
I don't suppose it's much good to replace the shaft if it has
Pulling the trans is not too much of a drama just time consuming.
