vk dash!

ok i have removed all but the base of the dash! its like glued on or somethin! anyone done it? or ideas?

Can you descibe which part, do you mean the part under the steering wheel or the black surround or the actual instrument cluster?

na none of that. iv taken away all the plastic. its the i suppose ya would call it fake leather... um part closest to the windscreen. its sort of glued onto the metal dash support. cheers for ya time!

The crash pad? There are some (either bolts or nuts onto studs can't remember) right up the front underneath. 10mm socket and you'll have it off.

Yup, 3x 10mm nuts holding it down, one each side and one in the middle (between the vents). also might be a couple of screws up the front, cant really remember, need a socket with a long extention to take it off easy.

oh really? lol sweet! i looked and looked lol but just got frustrated! lol i was gonna get out the razor blades and cut it off the metal lol! so ya call that part a crash pad hey?

yep. i.e. when you crash your head doesnt get cut open by the ol' school metal dash panels.

but its got metal under the rubbery foam leather etc sh!t. i recon it would still mess ya up!
