just after some knowledge on interchangable parts :) plz help

hey guys.
i have a vk wagon project i am currently workin on and have a vh wagon for spares.
basicly wat i am after is some info on what is interchangable. will vh guards, bonnet, tailgate, bumpers fit the vk?????

Bonnet I think yes, but front and rear bumpers on the VK's are a full moulded plastic apron style, VH's are just a narrow Steal bar, not the same.
Tailgate I think, and front quarters I think maybe also, but not sure, it's been a while.. lol

Will all fit ok, just the bumpers arent the same as said above. Have seen a vk wagon with vh bumpers on it, just depends what look your after. The handle on the tailgate is different, but nothing drilling a couple of extra holes wont fix.

I got VH bumpers on my VK (they don't fit straight up). The gaurds and bonnet will fit no worries. The tailgates are the same I rekon apart from the different handles, but the windows can be different. Some VK's don't use a rubber seal like the VH's do, but are just put in using sikaflex with mouldings around the outside. Oh and the front fenders in ur VK will have a small hole in each for the chrome moulding which comes down the roof.
