    Default temp gauge?

    my temp gauge doesnt work scince i brought it,
    it used to just sit on cold then it floated about
    now scince i turn it on the gauge will go past hot and out of visibily in under 1min
    like not even 30 seconds
    any one know how to fix it?

    I'd check out the temp sender first, could be a faulty sender or poor earthing of the sender.

    well i checked that and all there was was the brass knob but that was it no tube/wrie coming off it or anything????????

    yer that is probly the problem, could this be messing with my comp making it think its allwase cold or allwase hot or something??????
    what do i do to fix it? (get new wireing for it obviously) but how and shit :|

    The wire will be there..... somewhere. and if your gauge is going right off it would most likely be that it is earthing out somewhere, and if you find that its not at the end it could be broken somewhere further in and earthing there. But the gauge could also be stuffed.

    Yep hunt down that wire on the loom near the sender. Clean the end of wire tag and remove an re-install sender to re-earth (watch for hot coolant, plug with rag while you do it)
