holy crap... i dont even know. i would go on a limb and say they were imperial thread, but the VK is a half/half. i.e engine bolts imperial, body bolts metric/or vice versa...

    soz.

I have to say awesome question

I would say imperial carried over fromt he VB series, and prob even the VL would be as well I would say they went metric on the VN
For what its worth I checked my VB & VK manuals and they dont say

    cheers
    Scott

I've looked everywhere I can think of aswell, google was of no help, my service manuals didn't say squat, and my mate that works at Holden was also no help lol.. Ended up borrowing both metric and af flare kits so will let everyone know the tube diameters and nut sizes tomorrow.. Atleast that way will be here for future reference.

Thats because its basically the same spanner, 7/16 is 10.9375mm so close it will fit 11mm bolts just like 9/16 (14.0625mm) and 14mm

You will find legacy systems stay imperial/AF until they have been updated, added or changed then they go metric, hence the fuel filter on the VK is metric, yet brakes are imperial.

Wait till you play with other machines and cars they are many other standeds such as BS

Ok here's what I have so far.

Brake lines = 3/16 double flared with 10mm nuts except the rear line that goes into the master, which is ??mm (forgot to measure, will update when I do)

Fuel lines = 5/16 ball flared

Threads I don't know as yet, need to go get another flare nut this week so will update then.
